  How We Operate

Everything we do is built around our clients' ideas and dreams. All of our work is custom. Some clients come to us with plans drawn up by an architect and some clients come only with a few thoughts of what they want. Whatever your ideas, we work with you to make your home or renovation a reality.

In an initial meeting, often at the proposed site of construction or renovation, we talk about your vision for the finished project. Often we discuss how that suits the construction or property present. We get an idea of what types of materials and finishings you will want to have and can suggest ideas. We also speak about timelines for the project. We then create an estimate of the cost of the work and materials and agree on a contract. Sometimes our clients change their minds on details during construction - such as the type of windows they would like or what bathroom fixtures they want. After all, there are a lot of decisions involved, so we expect this and alter our pricing along the way depending on the changes made. Some clients prefer to choose all of their fixtures and finishings and some prefer us to make more detail decisions on their behalf. We adapt to the level of involvement you prefer.

During construction, we keep in regular contact with our clients, to discuss upcoming decisions and the progress of the project. We regularly work with many skilled subcontractors and local businesses including custom cabinetmakers, and experienced stone masons.

We have experience with many types of materials, such as log homes, siding, stone work, and steel roofs. One of our best qualities is to listen to our clients and adapt our experience and skills to create their dream. We pride ourselves in making your building experience positive and strive for complete customer satisfaction throughout the project and beyond.
